Typed on back: Displacement or slip along a fault plane striking north 26degrees east and dipping 27degrees west. The plane passes diagonally downward from right to left across the center of the photograph. The thick pegmatite band on the lower side of the plane matches the pegmatite band in the center above the plane. The slip or displacement amounts to three feet. The fault is of the normal type as the hanging wall, upper left, has slipped down relative to the footwall, lower right. The foliation dips 45degrees to the east.
