Broadway Comedian Joey Adams will appear in Boston as Master of Ceremonies of the spectacular $25,000 March of Dimes Television Auction which will be broadcast “live” from the Sherry Biltmore Hotel over WHDH-TV, Channel 5 from 2 p.m. until sign-off time at 1 a.m. on Saturday, January 24th. TViewers will be able to bid by phone for fabulous merchandise – including automobiles, puppies, furs, boats, swimming pools, bicycles, television sets, toys and hundreds of other items to be “knocked down” over the television screen. All proceeds of the 10 hour show go to the March of Dimes.
