Charlestown Branch Boston Public Library. After demolition of Whiting House, 42 Monument Sq. Next building, 41, was built by Abram E. Cutter, bookseller of Charlestown, after the Civil War in 1869. Now occupied as rectory of St. John's Episcopal Church. Many of Mr. Cutter's books were bequeathed to Boston Public Library and are kept in its treasure room.
