Left to right - Florence Hazen, wearing Dresden taffeta dress dated before Civil War; first owner, Mrs. Patrick Blaney (Anne McLaughlin); loaned by Mrs. Timothy Reardon, daughter. Elinor Day, wearing gray brocaded satin wedding gown of Mrs. James K. Frothingham (Nancy Greene), in 1853; gown loaned by Capt. and Mrs. Thomas G. Frothingham. Marion Abbott, wearing wedding gown of Mrs. Horatio McFarland (Lucinda Durgin), of gray taffeta with lace Bertha. This gown was purchased by Mr. McFarland on his way home from the gold rush of '49.
