Title (alt.):
The ACTOR . . . . - It's obvious that it is hot out there . . . . . . . only three spectators in the audience ..... should we really start? . . . . THE DIRECTOR .- And one of them is the refreshments vendor....raise the curtain right now so they don't leave!
Description:
An actor and a director are peeking out to the audience to see if they should start the play. The financial aspects between artists and the director of the theatre can at best be described as highly unusual. A great problem for the producers was the summer season, when the dog-days started to immobilize the social life in Paris.
