Here we have sketches and notes Helmut Hirsch created while visiting Slovakia. The first image is a sketch by Hirsch of a man and woman in traditional costume. Hirsch has also provided detailed notes about these costumes. The next few sketches are of men followed by a drawing of a mountain. Hirsch even provided detailed notes about his trip and observations. This item and others found within the collection provide scholars valuable insight to Helmut Hirsch's personality and interests outside of the German youth movement.
